We’re Chris & Sean, husbands who have talked about being dads since the early days of our relationship – usually in quiet moments, imagining bedtime routines and future holidays without knowing how we’d ever get there.
Like many same-sex couples, the path to parenthood isn’t straightforward. It requires planning, patience, vulnerability – and yes, significant financial investment. Instead of keeping this journey private, we decided to share it openly with the people who love us.
Not because we have everything figured out – but because this matters and us, and we know community makes hard things possible.

We didn’t arrive at this path quickly. We asked hard questions, sat with uncertainty, and chose gestational surrogacy for a variety of reasons we’ll dig into here.

Between medical care, legal requirements, agency coordination, and support for our gestational carrier, the costs add up quickly. We’re committed to carrying as much of this responsibility as we can ourselves.
